Koe Wetzel’s “Creeps” Is Officially Certified Gold

Music

Another Gold record for Koe Wetzel.

His fan-favorite song “Creeps” has officially been certified Gold by the RIAA, meaning it has moved over 500,000 units since it was released a couple years ago:

Included on his 2022 studio album Hell Paso, the song was written by Koe long with Andrew Baylis and Evan McKeever, and definitely leans into his more grunge and rock-leaning sensibilities with the driving electric guitar and power chords throughout.

It finds Koe pretty much giving the figurative middle finger to an ex, and it fits right into the rest of his catalog in terms of sentiment and was definitely the perfect choice to kick off Hell Paso as the lead single.

Koe previously said that the music video was inspired by The Walking Dead and all the zombie action on that show, and it’s pretty entertaining if you’ve never seen it before. Check it out while you’re here:
