Police seek help to ID suspect in weekend killing of man in Northridge

NORTHRIDGE — Police Monday asked for help identifying the person responsible for the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Northridge.

Police were called about 12:45 p.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting the 8600 block of Wystone Avenue, near Napa Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Arriving officers found the victim in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene, police said.

The shooter has not been arrested, police said, urging anyone with information to call them at 818-374-9550. To provide information anonymously, tipsters can call Crimestoppers at 800-222-8477.
