Miranda Lambert Delivers Stripped-Down Performance Of “Bluebird”

Music

Miranda does not miss.

“Bluebird” notched Miranda her first #1 single in 6 years (8 on Billboard). Yes, you heard that correctly, Miranda Lambert, the most decorated artist in the history of the ACMs, and the CMA’s most nominated female artist of all time, hasn’t had a number one single in 8 years on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Unreal… right?

Anyways, “Bluebird” is a special song from a once in a generation kind of artist like Miranda, and although it’s been out for quite a while now, it still remains completely relevant. Its message of hope, still one that we desperately need to hear.

“I love ‘Bluebird.’ It reminds me to open my eyes to what’s around me. Now, seeing a bluebird sitting on a branch means so much more to me. I see a little piece of hope there, sitting with wings, and it’s a reminder. I think this is one of those songs where every person takes what they need to from it.”

Miranda recently stripped it down for CBS’ “Home For The Holidays” TV special, just another knockout performance in a long line of great stuff from Miranda.  Which by the way, what do we have to do to get a Miranda Lambert virtual concert during this whole pandemic thing?

Asking for… well, everybody.
