Hear “Never Break Heart” & “Jenny,” Two Unreleased Songs On Eric Church’s Upcoming Triple Album ‘Heart & Soul’

It’s official… Eric Church is releasing a TRIPLE ALBUM this spring.

The news leaked early this morning and the official announcement came later this afternoon, but this April we’re going to get three albums (one is a Church Choir exclusive) featuring 24 songs from their month-longer recording session up in the Carolina mountains. Titled Heart & Soul, the three-album project will be released in parts on April 16th and 23rd, with the Church Choir record available on April 20th.

The albums will feature previously released hits like “Stick That In Your Country Song,” “Crazyland,” his current single “Hell Of A View” and more, but it will also feature a couple of previously performed tunes.

“Never Break Heart”

Eric originally performed this new one for an ACM Awards TV special that aired in April in lieu of the ceremony itself. Smack dab in the middle of quarantine, you would think it was written as an encouraging message of hope and resilience in the midst of incredibly difficult times, but nope… it was written before.

Call it divine inspiration.

The second one is a tune called “Jenny” that was originally performed at CRS, right after he got back from his songwriting retreat up in the mountains.

Inspired by a busted generator, he later performed the tune at StageCouch, the virtual festival that aired in lieu of Stagecoach Festival 2020.
