Miranda Lambert To Become First Female Country Artist To Open A Bar In Nashville With “Casa Rosa”

Miranda Lambert is making history on Lower Broadway.

We’ve been speculating for awhile here that Miranda Lambert would be the next artist to open a bar on Nashville’s famous strip. And today, it was confirmed – making her the first female country star to have a her name on a bar on Lower Broadway.

As reported by the Nashville Business Journal, Miranda has partnered with TC Restaurant Group to open Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa.

TC Restaurant Group also owns bars named for other big named artists like Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar + Kitchen, Luke’s 32 Bridge, and FGL House, along with other Broadway staples like Tequila Cowboy and Wanna B’s Karaoke Bar.

Miranda will also join artists like Dierks Bentley, John Rich, Kid Rock, Blake Shelton and Alan Jackson, who all have their own bars in Nashville’s biggest entertainment district. Oh, and then there’s Garth Brooks, who recently announced that he’s also going to be opening a bar on Broadway in the future.

So yeah, it’s getting pretty crowded with these artist-owned bars on Lower Broadway.

In a statement to the business journal discussing Miranda’s new place, TC restaurant group said:

“In true Miranda Lambert fashion, the two-time Grammy Award-winning artist will make history in 2021 by partnering with TC Restaurant Group to become the first female country star to have a bar and restaurant on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. TC Restaurant Group and Miranda Lambert are excited to release more details in the coming week.”

Miranda’s Casa Rosa will be located at 308 Broadway, which is currently the location of CrazyTown Nashville. CrazyTown, which is a 3-story venue featuring six bars, three stages, and a rooftop patio overlooking Broadway, is currently undergoing renovations according to an announcement on their website, which says to “check back with us in a few weeks” for a re-opening date.

According a Metro permit for the building, those renovations include adding a mezzanine and restrooms, as well as upgrading the “bar areas and finishes.”

The website for the bar doesn’t appear to be up and running yet, but a Google search for Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa gives you a sneak preview of what you can expect:

“Miranda Lambert and world-renowned Chef Tomasz Wosiak teamed up to create Tex-Mex dishes Nashville style. Fresh ingredients meets a southern chic cantina with elevated eats and an unsurpassed late night fiesta.”

Wosiak is also the chef behind the menus at Jason Aldean’s and Luke Bryan’s bars.

Now, I’ve been critical of some of these artist-owned bars on Broadway, because a lot of them are basically the same as all the others. You stumble drunk into Jason Aldean’s or Luke Bryan’s or Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and you wouldn’t even know whose bar you were in because they’re all pretty much exactly alike – packed full of bachelorettes and tourists and playing questionably country music (if they’re playing country music at all).

So while I would have loved to see a smoky dive bar or something along those lines from Miranda, I feel like she’s one of the few artists who could pull off one of these bars on Broadway and make it truly unique.

And with a seemingly-Mexican themed concept unlike any of the others, it seems like she’s doing just that.

I guess we’ll have to stay tuned for more details, but I’m excited to see what Miranda manages to pull off here. It better have an airstream in it…
