George Strait Performs Flawless Rendition Of “Troubadour” For Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” Benefit Concert

A man who needs no introduction…

George friggin’ Strait.

Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” benefit concert is the closet thing to a concert that I’ve seen in a good year… or at least it feels that way. Featuring some of the best musicians that Texas has to offer, including Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, Post Malone and more, the lineup was about as good as it could possibly get.

And one of the highlights, King George himself.

Singing his 2008 hit “Troubadour,” George proved yet again why he’s one of the best to ever play the game. And at 68 years old, he still sounds so damn good.

Take it away King.
