Parents and children rolled through San Marino on Sunday, April 4, chasing clues and solving riddles during the city’s reimagined Easter egg hunt.

Children up to 12-years-old started their day at Stoneman School, where they were given a riddle-based map and a complimentary basket. They headed to seven other stops, unlocking surprises like books, candy, toys and other goodies.

Some lucky families even glimpsed Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, who promised city officials they would make an appearance.

But only 10 families were lucky enough to find one of the special eggs that had a golden ticket inside, which could be exchanged for prizes like chocolate bunnies, gift cards and other festive delights.
