Flashback To Post Malone Covering Hank Williams With A 40 oz. Bud Light & A Handle Of Tito’s

Music

We’re still holding out for that Post Malone country music project, all signs point to it happening… someday.

We knew he liked country before, but his performances on Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” campaign surprised just about everybody, country fans and non country fans alike.

The guy is also a huge fan of the genre itself. And not only is he a huge fan, he likes REAL country music. He’s proven that by playing Sturgill Simpson, Brad Paisley, singing along to John Michael Montgomery, singing with Dwight Yoakam, I mean the list goes on and on.

Perhaps one of the coolest thing he’s done with country music though, is sing the Hank Williams classic, “There’s a Tear in My Beer,” with a 40 oz. Bud Light and a handle of Tito’s in front of him.

Originally written and record by Hank around 1950, it wasn’t released until Hank Jr. re-recorded it using some of his father’s original vocals in 1989. We’re talking about one of the OG’s of country music.

This is an older video, as you can see noticeably less face tats, but maybe if we keep hyping Posty up, he’ll really be inspired to put a country album together… fingers crossed.
