Drive-by shooting wounds man in Hollywood Hills after nightclub argument

HOLLYWOOD HILLS — A man in his 20s was hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday morning with at least one gunshot wound he sustained in a drive-by shooting in the Hollywood Hills.

The shooting occurred about 12:40 a.m. on the 6600 block of Whitley Terrace, north of Franklin Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim and some friends were at an unidentified nightclub when they got into an argument with four suspects. When the victim and his friend left the club, the suspects followed them in a dark colored SUV and opened fire, the department said.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.

A detailed description of the suspects or their vehicle was not immediately available.
