9-Year-Old Shreds Jaw-Dropping Cover Of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey”

Music

Give me a minute…

I need to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Every so often, there are these unique moments in your life when you’re completely humbled. Whether it’s in school or work, maybe even a hobby or craft, somebody comes along and reminds you that you ain’t shit.

Enter…

Taj Farrant.

The nine-year-old (at least was nine at the time of this video), guitar playing whiz kid that just wiped the floor with my 15 years of guitar playing experience.

Granted, I’m not that good at all, but still, Taj is nine and I’m 32. I play more like a drunken nine-year-old and he plays like the reincarnation of Stevie Ray Vaughan.

And his guitar cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” is downright phenomenal.

It’s purely instrumental, but once he starts shredding, it just gets more and more out of control.

And that game face? Gotta love it.
