Logan Halstead’s Cover Of Tyler Childers’ “Pray Over The Moonshine Still” Shows Even More Potential For A Big Future

Music

Remember Logan Halstead?

He’s the 17 year old whose song “Dark Black Coal” blew up online (while also making our list of Top Songs About Coal) and has drawn comparisons to Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan.

Turns out, Logan is pretty well versed with the likes of at least one of those comparisons.

In a sit down with BlueLava Audio, Logan broke out a cover of the great, but unreleased, Tyler Childers song “Pray Over The Moonshine Still.” This is a tough song to cover, the rhythm and patterns are so unique to Tyler it’d be hard for most people to pull it off.

But Logan is not most people…

Take a listen, I guarantee you won’t regret it.

And remember the name, this kid is going places…
