On This Date: Tim McGraw Pulls Fan On Stage After He Hit A Woman, Ejects Him

Music

On June 24th, 2008, Tim McGraw made a statement: No man fights a woman at his shows.

During his performance of “Indian Outlaw,” something happened between a guy and a girl in the front row of the Auburn, Washington, concert which lead to the guy getting physical with the girl, and let’s just say… that didn’t sit well with Mr. McGraw.

With help of the security team, Tim pulled the man on stage, gave him a good shove, and security escorted him out of the arena. When the man turned back around, Tim cocked a right hand back like he was gonna leave the fan with a nice souvenir, but cooler heads prevailed.

Tim is hardly the only country singer to get involved when fans fight at their shows, but he’s certainly the first I’ve seen pull the guy on stage with him to get him out of there.

To be fair, there’s not many singers that can compare with the shape he’s in. That guy was large, but Tim and the security guy barely had any trouble getting him up there.

Score one for the good guys…
