VAN NUYS — A woman was fatally stabbed Wednesday morning in Van Nuys, and a possible suspect was detained.
Officers were sent to the 13800 block of Valerio Street about 8:50 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman, in her 40s, died at the scene, police said. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
A man was detained as a possible suspect in the crime, police said.
