The California Department of Public Health’s vaccination dashboard update on Wednesday, July 14, said more than 48.5 million vaccine doses have been distributed in the state.
About 20.5 million Californians (60.6%) are fully vaccinated, up from 20.2 million last week. The state’s vaccine dashboard is updated weekly on Wednesdays. Here’s how the percentages by age have changed in the last week:
July 7:
- 65 and older: 65.7%
- 50-64: 70.3%
- 18-49: 56.6%
- 12-17: 34.3%
July 14:
- 65 and older: 69.4%
- 50-64: 71.1%
- 18-49: 57.5%
- 12-17: 36.2%
It is estimated that at the state’s current vaccination rate it could reach 70% of people fully vaccinated in 73 days.

Los Angeles County vaccinations:
July 7:
- 65 and older: 63.2%
- 50-64: 69.4%
- 18-49: 58.5%
- 12-17: 34.7%
