Pecos And The Rooftops Announce New Album, ‘Cabin Fever,’ Coming This Fall

Music

Ol’ Pecos Hurley from Pecos & The Rooftops stopped by the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast last week, and needless to say, the guy knows how to have a good time.

One of the things we can officially confirm, is that Koe Wetzel is as wild of a mf’er as everybody thought he was. Although, Kolby Cooper confirmed that as well when he joined the podcast a few weeks ago.

He talked about the ghosts in the attic of his new house, the absolute explosion of “This Damn Song,” why Hawaii has the best weed on the planet, and more.

However, near the end of the podcast, he just casually dropped some GREAT news for Pecos & The Rooftops fans.

A new album is officially on the way.

You heard it here first folks, officially titled Cabin Fever, Pecos and the fellas are going into the studio to record one more song and the album should be good to go. Pecos said it’ll be coming out sometime around the fall.

“We’re getting to get this album out, we actually worked on it the day before yesterday and we have one song left to record and then it’s just gotta get mixed and mastered.

But that’s been a long process with how busy touring has been also… being able to get everyone together to record and shit like that. So I think the next time we do an album we’re just gonna take a month off to get that shit done.

But man we can’t wait to get the new stuff out, we’re gonna do a full length album… hopefully we’ll get it out around the fall. It’s called ‘Cabin Fever.’”

Oh yeah, and here’s a fun fact…

GET EXCITED.
