How damn good does it feel to have the great Travis Tritt crankin’ out new music?
Titled Set In Stone, the Dave Cobb-produced project was Tritt’s first studio record since 2007. Released in May of this year, Tritt kicked things off with the lead single “Ghost Town Nation,” followed by the nostalgic “Smoke In A Bar.”
Keeping the running theme of nostalgia and the good ol’ days in tact, Tritt has announced his third single from the album, “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That No More.”
Written by Travis himself, along with rising star Dillon Carmichael, “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That No More” is a boot-stompin’, honky tonkin’ toast to the old school.
“There’s just some things that stand the test of time
Like an old jukebox and some honky-tonk wine
Newer ain’t better buddy, that’s for sure
Son, they don’t make ’em like that no more.”
‘They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That No More” is set to hit country radio on August 3oth.
