Big Al covering Ol’ Charley.

The CMT: Giants Charley Pride tribute concert last week was actually quite impressive, featuring performances from Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Lee Ann Womack, Luke Combs, Reba, and more.

We saw ol’ George tip the cap to Charley with a cover of “Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone” and Luke Combs was joined by Reyna Roberts and Robert Randolph for a cover of “Kiss An Angel Good Morning.”

And when Alan Jackson stepped to the mic, he delivered a phenomenal cover of the 1979 single, “Where Do I Put Her Memory.”

“I loved Charley Pride. He was one of my heroes, he was one of the sweetest and most sincere guys that made me feel so welcomed into country music back in my young days and I’m so proud to do this song for him tonight.”

Here’s to the great Charley Pride.
