Zach Bryan Slated For Texas Longhorns Pre-Game Concert Ahead Of Texas Tech Game

Music

Texas is SO back.

Oklahoma native Zach Bryan will be heading south (pun intended) to play a pre-game concert at The University Of Texas on September 25th before the Longhorn’s game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

“We can’t wait to have Zach Bryan, one of the rising stars in country music, join us for Longhorn City Limits this season.

On top of his musicianship, we are honored to welcome such a talented young man who served our country honorably.

We know Longhorn Nation will welcome him with open arms on September 25 for what will definitely be a memorable performance.”

What a cool thing for Zach.

Obviously, he’s been blowing up in popularity recently, having debuted on the Opry, raised money with Christian McCaffery and sold out just about every venue he’s played at, but the idea of Matthew McConaughey in the crowd or on stage, getting Texas fans fired up while Zach Bryan is pouring his heart out on stage is almost too much for me to handle.

Is Texas back? Will the fans not be subject to yet another year of disappointment? That’s to be seen, but whoever is in charge of scheduling concerts is absolutely crushing it.

Atta boy Zach. Keep doing the dang thing.
