A HUGE congratulations are in order for Lainey Wilson.
The Louisiana native just scored her first career #1 at country radio with her awesome song “Things A Man Oughta Know”.
She took to Twitter to acknowledge the accomplishment and thank everyone who helped her get this point:

I know there’s a lot of people who scoff when an artist hits the #1 spot with any given song, mainly because of the politics that are in play when it comes to country radio, but I can’t help but be excited that they’re playing music like Lainey’s.
She’s one of the best young artists in Nashville right now, and her friend Carly Pearce (who just released her own stellar album), also congratulated her on this milestone:
