Porter Ranch CHP pursuit ends with Moorpark arrests

California

LOS ANGELES — A motorist led authorities on a chase Monday from the Porter Ranch area to Moorpark and was taken into custody along with a female passenger.

Officers tried to pull the car over after the man was seen “driving erratically,” but he led them on a chase on the westbound 118 Freeway into Ventura County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Shortly before 10 a.m., the car came to a stop on state Route 23 after being disabled by a spike strip. The driver and female passenger both surrendered without incident.
