Cody Jinks Performs The Title Track Of His New Album, ‘Mercy,’ In Las Vegas

Music

Hot DAMN, I love me some Cody Jinks.

With the year winding down, it’s about time to start thinking about those year-end lists of the best songs and albums that 2021 has blessed us with.

And while 2021 might be a steaming pile of dog shit for a whole mess of other reasons, it sure was good to country music fans.

We got new albums from Billy Strings, Charles Wesley Godwin, Mike and the Moonpies, Cody Johnson, and more, but when I start thinking about some of my favorite albums this year, I can’t help but go to Cody Jinks.

Mercy has been in constant rotation since it first dropped back on November 12th of this year.

Cody was back on the road this past weekend, treating fans in Las Vegas to three shows at The Chelsea, and while I wasn’t there myself, everything leads to believe that it was one hell of a show. Not to mention you had the great  Randy Rogers Band opening the night.

And while Mercy may be one of my favorite albums, “Mercy” might also be one of my favorite songs this year.

And live? It just hits different…
