I’m in a Nashville visitors group on Facebook, and one of the most frequent questions that people ask before they come to Music City is “where can I meet a celebrity?”
Well it seems like the answer to that is “Madame Tussauds.”
A couple months ago, Darius Rucker stopped by the Nashville location of the famous chain of wax museums to pose as a wax statue and scare some visitors.
Y’all know I love a good prank! To get into the #Halloween spirit, I stopped by @TussaudsUSA to say “boo” to a few new friends. 😉 pic.twitter.com/EKt84TGt1B

And now it looks like it’s Randy Travis‘s turn to have a little fun.
The country music legend recently stopped by Madame Tussauds to surprise some fans, posing as a wax statue sitting behind a desk of a radio station with a guitar while unsuspecting visitors gathered round to take their picture with the “statue.”
Little did they know they were about to meet the legend himself.
@randy.travis We visited @madametussaudsusa in Nashville and I pretended to be my wax figure to surprise the guests! #countrymusic #waxfigure #randytravis
My fianceé and I have a running joke about this place that whenever we can’t decide what we want to do, I always suggest Madame Tussauds (we’ve still never actually been).
But if it means getting to meet Randy Travis? Hell, maybe we need to actually check it out next time.
God bless Randy Travis.
