FIRE ME UP.
There ain’t too many country music artists in the game right now who are as badass as Jamey Johnson. I mean, the man is just the real deal, as authentic as it gets.
I’m just dying for the day that the man drops a brand new album (fingers crossed it’s sometimes soon), because it’s been nearly a whole decade since he’s blessed us with some new music.
We got a little tease last summer when Johnson’s pedal steel player Eddie Long told us there was a new album in the works, and Johnson completely denied those claims and left us all drinking sad beers.
On the other hand, the man is still lighting up the stage, playing live shows, festivals, and more.
Last year he hit the road with Randy Houser, who’s been putting out some damn good country music himself in recent years with his criminally underrated Magnolia album, but now in 2022, they’re back for more.
The duo officially have dates set for the second half of the tour.
Kicking off March 24th in Green Bay, Wisconsin, it rounds out on April 1th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Get ready, tickets go on-sale this Friday at 10am… getcha some.
