Morgan Wade Teases Cover Of The Elvis Presley Hit “Suspicious Minds” For ‘Reckless’ Deluxe Album

Music

The picture of Morgan Wade’s Reckless Deluxe release is starting to unfold.

We heard the first new track, Run, a few weeks back and just a day or so ago, she let us know about another track that’s coming soon…

“When you get to release a deluxe version of your album, you obviously include some Elvis! Y’all ready for Suspicious Minds?

Here’s an acoustic sneak peek.”

“Suspicious Minds” was originally written and recorded by Mark James, but cut by Elvis in 1969. His version became an instant hit, going #1 in a little over 2 months. It was also recorded by Dwight Yoakam, as well as Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter.

Morgan has always shown an appreciation for the classics, recently sharing awesome covers of “Me And Bobby McGee”, Kris Kristofferson’s “Help Me Make It Through The Night”and Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire”.

Absolutely can’t wait for this one. Actually, I can’t wait for anything Morgan Wade decides to release… she’s that good.
