Holocaust Remembrance Vigil: Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys hold a 25-hour program, “Every Person Has a Name,” in advance of United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Jan. 27, 2022;  information on the United Nations remembrance  www.un.org/en/outreach-programme-holocaust/page/2022). The Jewish Federation’s vigil begins with a ceremony at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 that remembers the more than 34,000 Jews who were rounded up by Nazi forces at Babi Yar, a ravine in Kyiv, Ukraine, and murdered.
