But wait, there’s more…
Turnpike is LOADING up on some country music festivals this year.
Today, we learned that the Turnpike Troubadours are co-headlining the Windy City Smokeout with Willie Nelson this year, and headlining the Jackalope Jamboree in Pendleton Oregon as well.
Of course, these announcements are in addition to the back to back Red Rocks shows as well as a handful of shows at Billy Bob’s, Cain’s Ballroom and Floore’s Country Store.
Pretty damn good news considering three months ago we were all wondering if they were ever gonna reunite again.
With that being said, we can add a third country music festival to the list for Turnpike, as the Highway 30 Music Fest has announced they’ll be headlining the 2022 show.
The festival is slated for June 23rd-25th in Filer, Idaho, with other performances coming from Koe Wetzel, Aaron Lewis, Granger Smith, Shane Smith & the Saints, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Mike and the Moonpies, Kolby Cooper, Pecos & The Rooftops, Lainey Wilson, Kat Hasty, and more.
Man, whatta time to be alive… might just have to follow Turnpike around tour this summer… Deadhead style.
