Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 453 new cases and 26 more deaths, March 28

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 453 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 2,831,103 as of Monday, March 28.

Officials reported 26 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,619 deaths since tracking began.

There was 21 fewer hospitalization reported since Sunday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 329.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
