OOF…
Does nobody remember that Monday Night Football performance from a few years back?
If I’m Brantley Gilbert, I’m just not playing big sporting events anymore… it’s not worth the public embarrassment…
Speaking of public embarrassment, Brantley Gilbert is fresh off the release of his new single “Rolex On A Redneck,” a collaboration with Jason Aldean, but tonight, he took the stage at WrestleMania for a performance of “America The Beautiful.”
Yo #WrestleMania we’re here… Off to a great start with a hang with my brother @brocklesner. See y’all tonight at 8/7c 🇺🇸👊🏼 @wwe @WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/wQLrayZWgs

And while I was too busy watching Kansas put a beatdown on Villanova to watch it, Twitter has conveniently told me that it was God-awful.
Granted, I wouldn’t exactly peg Brantley Gilbert for the type to sing “America The Beautiful,” but damn… they went nuclear on him.
Anyone else think that Brantley Gilbert SUCKED when he performed at #WrestleMania that was truly an AWFUL performance!!!

Today I heard Brantley Gilbert for the first and last time. God, that was awful. #WrestleMania

Always thought more country music stars should sing the anthem/america the beautiful at sporting events.
Until tonight when #brantleygilbert opened #WrestleMania38 with the most cringe rendition of America the Beautiful in the history of the world.

I like Brantley Gilbert but that was one of the worst performances I have ever seen or heard and that’s saying something because I like his music

Brantley Gilbert’s rendition of ‘America The Beautiful’ is the “Will Smith Slap” of bad musical performances at sports events. It should be the end of his career, but it most likely won’t. #WrestleMania

Brantley Gilbert fucking sucks. #WrestleMania

Brantley Gilbert already kicking this Mania off to a terrible start
— SpamWrestling (@SpamWrestling) April 3, 2022
YIKES… it goes on and on and on like that.
And unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) the performance is nowhere to be found online right now… probably for the best.
This picture will have to do…
