Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 973 new cases and 11 more deaths, April 13

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 973 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 2,848,030 as of Wednesday, April 13.

Officials reported 11 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,830 deaths since tracking began.

There 14 fewer hospitalizations reported since Tuesday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 256.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
