We know Luke Combs has a TON of unreleased material waiting in the wings, and this week, we’re finally going to get a taste of LC3.
He’s teased the studio versions of a couple new songs, including “Five Leaf Clover,” “The Kind Of Love We Make,” and even one called, “Tomorrow Me.”
Which just so happened to be his next release.
Set to drop on Friday, April 22nd, “Tomorrow Me,” is the all too familiar story of what happens when two people make some bad decisions in the wee hours of the morning.
You know, a little “you up?” text to an ex after last call, a little “we shouldn’t be doing this” as the clothes start to come off, and a whole lotta regret in the lonely moments to follow. Except this time, Luke doesn’t want “tomorrow me” to have to deal with it.
Written by Luke Combs, alongside Ray Fulcher and Dean Dillon, here’s a look the chorus:
“Because tomorrow me ain’t gonna like the way things go tonight
If I let you in and think that it’ll be different this time
So maybe we should let yesterday be
Cause I gotta live with tomorrow me…”
And teaser of the song:
