Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,583 new cases and four more deaths, April 26

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,583 new cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,865,825 as of Tuesday, April 26.

Officials reported four more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,941 deaths since tracking began.

There two more hospitalizations reported since Monday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 232.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
