Randall King Releases Live Acoustic Version Of “Baby Do,” Announces Live EP Coming This Month

Music

Never a bad day when we get new stuff from Randall King, and this time he’s hitting us with a double dose of good news.

Randall has been releasing live acoustic versions of some of the songs from his major-label debut album Shot Glass, starting with the quirky “Roger, Miller Lite and Me.”

Then he dropped an acoustic version of the sultry “Can’t You Feel How That Sounds,” a song that should be on the top of everybody’s baby-makin’ playlist.

Well now he’s back with the third installment of the series, and this time he’s giving us the fan-favorite “Baby Do,” a catchy as hell honky tonker that would be right at home beside some of the biggest hits of the ’90s.

But that’s not all: Randall also announced that he’s releasing a new EP, Live at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, later this month on July 22.

In addition to the three that have already been released, the EP will feature three more live acoustic versions of songs from his major-label debut album: “You In a Honky Tonk,” “Record High,” and “Hard Way to Make It Rain.”

I’ve gotta say, I wouldn’t be mad if we eventually got a part 2 to complete the collection of acoustic cuts from the first album.
