Last year, Cody Jinks took a unique and massive move in his career, by releasing both a country album, Mercy, and a full-blown metal album with his metal band Caned By Nod, None The Wiser.
It’s quite the testament to Jinks’ career up to this point, putting out music and doing things the way he wants to, while also putting his versatility on full display, which is why we’ve all grown to love the guy.
Of course, he got his musical start in metal, but I wondered since the day he announced the metal album, if he would begin to tour or play some shows here and there with Caned By Nod, and sure enough, the day has come.
He announced via social media today that Caned By Nod will be heading to Dallas in the near future for the first time ever live and in person, at Trees on September 3rd.
Needless to say, if you just so happen to be in the Dallas area around September 3rd, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the first ever live concert from Caned By Nod, ever.

Jinks himself will also be making a few upcoming stops as well, playing in Biloxi, Mississippi August 11th, Birmingham, Alabama August 12th, Atlanta, Georgia August 13th, Buffalo, New York August 17th, Baltimore, Maryland August 19th, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania August 20th.
