The Veterans Home of California – West Los Angeles will host a career fair on Monday, Aug. 15 to fill hundreds of positions.
The event, at 11500 Nimitz Ave., will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., highlighting openings for food service workers, nursing assistants, graduate student assistants and pharmacy services managers, among other jobs.
Applicants can speed the process by taking an online hiring exam before the job fair. Job seekers who complete the exam can bring their scores to the event, along with three previous job references.
Some employment offers could be made on the spot, officials said.
Workshops will also be held on “How to Get a State Job” and “How to Maneuver the CA/HR Website.”
