Jon Pardi Scores Fifth #1 Single With “Last Night Lonely”

Music

Jon Pardi officially has his fifth career #1 on country radio.

“Last Night Lonely” is the lead single from his forthcoming album Mr. Saturday Night, and it hit the top spot on the Mediabase country chart over the weekend.

Mediabase is one of the two charts that artists and labels use to track their songs performance, along with the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Jon was featured on Thomas Rhett’s #1 single “Beer Can’t Fix,” which would make it six #1’s for him in total if you count that song, too:

A co-write by Jimi Bell, Joe Fox and Dylan Marlowe, Jon told Billboard that it’s actually the first #1 for all the writers involved, and he’s excited for them to get to experience that on a track that he loves so much:

“I love the way ‘Last Night Lonely’ [was] written, and when I first heard it I knew it was one I wanted, for sure, on the new record.

The response to the song has been really amazing to watch. We knew we felt good about it, but it has really connected with our fans… It’s incredibly cool to have it be the first No.1 for the writers, too. I’m so excited for them.”

Mr. Saturday Night is slated to drop this Friday, September 2nd, and Jon is currently out on the road on his Ain’t Always The Cowboy tour with Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters.

A big congratulations to Jon and his team on another hit single, and here’s to many more #1’s in the California cowboy’s future.
