Amazon Prime Day might have ended in July, but all signs are pointing to a second 2022 Prime Day happening this fall. Amazon reps have confirmed to Rolling Stone that they are working on some sort of big sales event in October, giving shoppers a second chance to score discounts and deals. According to reports, the second Prime Day is tentatively being called the “Prime Early Access Sale.”
When Is Amazon Prime Day 2022?
The first Amazon Prime Day 2022 kicked off July 12 and ran through the end of July 13. Aside from a slight scheduling change (due to Covid) in 2020, Amazon Prime Day dates have always been in the middle of summer, and this year’s Prime Day date was no different.
Will There Be a Second Amazon Prime Day This Year?
The second Amazon Prime Day is rumored to be taking place in October, with the week of October 10th having been thrown out as a possible date.
If this date holds true, it will be the second time that Amazon has held a big sales event in October. The site pushed its Prime Day sale to October in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic before returning it to its usual summer slot.
Similar to previous years, Amazon Prime Day took place over two days once again this year, giving shoppers 48 hours to score a deal and discount online. It’s unclear if the second Prime Day will also take place over two days, or if it’ll be a one-day-only event.
