Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,017 more cases of the coronavirus since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,476,928 as of Friday, Oct. 21.

Officials reported 14 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday for a total of 33,889 deaths since tracking began.

There were 10 fewer hospitalization since Thursday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 389.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,359,534 doses administered.
