Los Angeles County public health officials reported 2,978 more cases of the coronavirus since over the weekend, bringing the total number of cases to 3,496,108 as of Monday, Nov. 7.

Officials reported 16 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Friday for a total of 33,015 deaths since tracking began.

Hospitalizations figures are pending information from the California Department of Public Health.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,623,271 doses administered.
