Flatland Cavalry Shares Their Guilty Pleasure Country Songs, And Boy Are There Some Good Ones

Music

Humble folk barely scratches the surface… these guys are gentlemen.

The boys from Flatland Cavalry were gracious enough to share some of their time with us at Greenville Country Music Fest to answer some questions and man was it a good time.

The conversation ran from the meaning of some songs, to beer or whiskey, Dolly or Reba, and this gem which gave us some awesome answers.

What’s your guilty pleasure country song?

Here’s how they answered…

Cleto Cordero (Lead Vocals/Guitar): “Before He Cheats” – Carrie Underwood

Assuming he meant the smash hit/all-time karaoke anthem…

What I would do to be a fly on a dive bar wall if Cleto came up and sang that.

Jason Albers (Percussion): “Bop” – Dan Seals

Not going to lie, first time hearing this one, but one listen and I agree. This is catchy…

Wesley Hall (Fiddle): Anything Shania

Can’t go wrong with Ms. Twain, that’s for damn sure.

Reid Dillion (Electric Guitar): Parked By The Lake – Dean Summerwind

Remember this one? Had people up in arms for awhile, but it ain’t a lie that it’s both hilarious and a low key banger.

Jonathan Saenz (Bass): Man! I Feel Like A Woman – Shania Twain

Let’s go girls…

Adam Gallegos (Utility) – “House Party” – Sam Hunt

The fact he had to think about Sam Hunt’s name is pretty funny considering how absolutely massive this was and honestly still is..

What’s your guilty pleasure song? Let us know!
