Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 5,051 more cases and 12 more deaths, Dec. 7

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 5,051 more cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,570,525 as of Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Officials reported 12 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 34,263 deaths since tracking began.

There were 23 more hospitalizations since Tuesday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,293.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,986,315 doses administered.
