Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,450 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,573,950 as of Thursday, Dec. 8.

Officials reported 17 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 34,279 deaths since tracking began.

There were 13 more hospitalizations since Wednesday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,306.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,986,315 doses administered.
