Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 3,080 more cases and 23 more deaths, Dec. 21

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,080 more cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,609,228 as of Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Officials reported 23 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 34,515 deaths since tracking began.

There were 23 more hospitalizations since Tusday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,274.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,165,824 doses administered.
