Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 3,084 more cases and 25 more deaths, Dec. 22

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,084 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,612,321 as of Thursday, Dec. 22.

Officials reported 25 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 34,539 deaths since tracking began.

There were 25 fewer hospitalizations since Wednesday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,256.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,165,824 doses administered.
