Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,716 more cases and 27 more deaths, Jan. 12

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,716 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,657,744 as of Tursday, Jan. 12.

Officials reported 27 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 34,944 deaths since tracking began.

There were nine more patients since Wednesday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with Coronavirus to 1,119.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,358,478 doses administered.
