Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion Postponed To This Friday Due To Inclement Weather Forecast For Thursday

Music

Talk about a stroke of bad luck…

Sorry, I had to.

The team over at Luck Reunion, home of Willie Nelson’s expansive ranch and home base, as well as his awesome, annual festival, just announced that they are postponing this year’s festival.

There’s a weather alert for the Spicewood, Texas region on the day of the event, this Thursday, March 16th, which includes a risk of strong and severe storms.

Instead, the performances will now take place the following day, on Friday the 17th, which looks to be a bit sunnier and calmer in terms of severe weather.

In a statement, they noted that all tickets, credentials and parking passes will still be honored.

It’s unclear if any lineup changes will have to be made due to the rescheduling of the reunion, but those announcement should be coming shortly.

You can read their full statement here:

“Luck Presents has spent the last 48 hours assessing incoming weather patterns to the Spicewood, TX area. Under the advisement of Travis County officials and the National Weather Service the decision has been made to postpone Luck Reunion to Friday, March 17th.

The safety of fans, performers, vendors and staff remains paramount…without that there is no Luck.

All existing tickets, parking passes and press credentials will be honored for the rescheduled Luck Reunion date Friday, March 17th. Any minor changes to lineup will be announced as soon as possible.

Same venue, same vendors, same Willie…and a little more sunshine. Hope to see you out at Luck on Friday.

Potluck 2023: Three Sisters (3/15), Luck Origins: New Orleans Takeover (3/18), and ‘Strange Things Happening: A Tribute to Sister Rosetta Tharpe’ (3/19) will go on as scheduled. Please direct questions to [email protected]

The Luck team has directed fans to email them directly with further inquires about refunds and questions pertaining to details of the weekend:

The festival features a stacked lineup this year, per the usual, with Willie Nelson and Family performing as they always do, along with Shane Smith & The Saints, Sierra Ferrell, Drayton Farley, Spoon, Ethel Cain, Sir Woman, Devon Gilfillian and many more taking the stage, in what is a very diverse lineup of over 35 acts.

Hopefully, all of those artists will still be able to make it, and I’m sure it will be a great event for everyone planning to attend.
