I haven’t been this excited to hear a song in a long time.
Lainey Wilson previously said that she and the great Lukas Nelson had been writing together, and even teamed up for a special song, and it’s actually coming really soon.
They both revealed on Instagram a couple days ago that a duet called “More Than Friends” will be out everywhere this coming Friday.
From what I heard just in the short, acoustic teaser they shared, it already sounds like a banger, and Lainey said in the video that Lukas asked her to feature on it:
“Let’s see what you got Lukas Nelson. Y’all, I’m pumped for this song. It comes out next week.
Lukas asked me to sing on it, it’s called ‘More Than Friends.’”
They’re both two of my favorite artists, each with very unique styles and perspectives, and they might just be the duo I think I’ve always needed in my life…
