Metrolink trains operate on a weekend schedule on Tuesday on the Ventura County Line, and other lines, except no service on the Riverside line. Purchase a $10 Holiday Pass for the holiday. Trash: Pickup schedule in Los Angeles will be delayed by one day: Tuesday’s trash will be picked up on Wednesday, Wednesday’s trash will be picked up on Thursday, and so on through the week (800-773-2489; click on What We Do, then Collection and then see Holiday Trash Collection here: www.lacitysan.org).
