The Canadian cowboy is letting it rip with his album.
Jade Eagleson is bringing jukebox country back with his two steppin’ twangers with the release of his latest album Do It Anyway.
And this album’s one that’s been on my radar since since the lead single, “Rodeo Queen,” was released in March.
The single was a quick-paced ditty that transported me to the dancefloor of a Fort Worth Stockyards bar, and since then, I have been keeping a close eye on Jade to see what he came up with next.
Followed by the release of “Neon Dreamin’” and “Honky Talkin’,” it was clear that Eagleson was heavily leaning into the ’90s country basics while working on this album.
As he is breaking into the American country music scene after major successes in Canada, Jade seems to have cracked the code to win the hearts of listeners with twanger after twanger.
On Instagram, Eagleson spoke about the release of his third album:
“This has been years in the making, and I couldn’t be more proud of this album. The session players involved represent a sound I’ve been chasing for years, and production took it to a whole new world.
It was truly a dream come true to work with this team, and I feel like we’ve made something special. Thank you to everyone that helped along the way – from writing the songs, to mixing and mastering. So grateful to all of you.

Do It Anyway highlights the sound that Eagleson mentioned in his Instagram post, curating an album filled with tracks that align seamlessly with the singles leading up to the album’s release.
The album is filled with fiddle riffs, steel guitar, some light-hearted tracks, and also a few serious lyrics, making it a well-rounded album that you won’t want to skip through.
This album shows that Eagleson is ready to hang with the big dogs of country music.
