Randall King has a new album on the way.
The Texas native just announced a new, 18-track record called Into the Neon will be out everywhere on January 26th, 2024.
It’s the follow-up to his major label debut Shot Glass, which King says is a reflection of growth and where he’s at right now as an artist and person:
“You grow wiser with age, you grow wiser while you’re working and experiencing life, and I feel like I have a deeper understanding of what my music really is.
We’re moving into the neon era of country music. The pendulum is swinging, and you’re watching it happen… Now I just hope people get their mind blown.”
Co-produced by King alongside Jared Conrad, the project will of course feature his silky smooth, twangy vocals, along with his unique, signature blend of influences from icons like George Strait and Keith Whitley, with a modern twist that will have you ready to dance the night away at your local honky tonk.
Today, King also released a new song from the album called “Hang Of Hangin’ On,” which was inspired by the lady he loves and realizing he doesn’t feel the pull to leave all the time anymore:
“Think I’m getting the hang of hangin’ all this music out there.
I sure loved this song from the first time I heard it. Go spin your lady to this one y’all!”
Mark your calendars, people… 2024 is already lookin’ up for country music:
