Beyoncé Welcomes Fans to ‘My House’ on Fast-Talking New Single

Beyoncé has dropped a new single, “My House,” to coincide with the release of her latest documentary, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. The song was produced and co-written by The-Dream and appears over the credits of the film.

The track sees Beyoncé talking up her achievements and wealth over a hard-dropping beat. “Then take me to Tiffany, I want 44 carats on my fangs,” she sings. “I want pink diamonds on my belly chain and my nipple rings.”

It’s not all bragging, though. During a softer moment, the singer intones, “I will always love you, but I will never expect you to love me when you don’t love yourself. Let’s heal the world, one beautiful action at a time. This is real love!”

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, which is part documentary and part concert film, hits theaters today. It follows her 2019 release, Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, and delves into the creation and execution of Beyoncé’s recent 86-date tour, which began in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this year.

“It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft,” the film synopsis reads. “Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”

Last night, Taylor Swift stopped by the film’s London premiere to show her support. Beyoncé made a special appearance of her own at the Los Angeles premiere of the concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour back in October.
